PREVIEW OF THE NEXT FEW WEEKS AT THE CLUB:
April 17th No meeting at the hall (Maundy Thursday) but . . . . Thursday 17th April. 1930hrs a chance to get some great images at the Infinity Bridge Stockton, including the (albeit limited due to construction work) riverside frontage. Bring your tripod and turn your cameras to manual for what I hope will be a great evening. Terrain is all but flat. Parking near the Infinity Bridge on the public roads is almost always easily accessible. What 3 Words ///washed.measuring.picked. Sun sets at 2012hrs right under the bridge.
April 24th Practical Night, the four corners are back so don’t forget to bring your camera’s along for this fun night. Subjects for the night are still being finalised but if you have an idea or subject please make it known before the night.
May 1st Before & After, An interesting night presented by Bill Hepple. Remember the competition judges comments throughout the season e.g. This image would be much improved without the lamppost at the front . . . . Well Bill does his magic & changes our members images to meet the judges comments, to see if we agree with the suggested edit(s). What will you think of the change?
May 8th Presentation Night, Our clubs end of season results & award presentations, including the Chairmans Cup Portrait Competition along with the Print & PDI of the Year award, judged by Dennis Dunning.

Thursday 13th March was our second club ‘Portrait Night’ with four lighting setups for our members to do some practical camera work & hone their portrait skills.
A big thanks to our models from the Facebook ‘Whitby Goth Weekend Pictures Group’ along with members of ‘Guisborough Theatre Group’.

GPG continue to support the ‘Guisborough Theatre Group’ (amateur dramatic group), including recently attending another dress rehearsal to capture the show & its stars. The GTC members always show their appreciation, they visited & posed for a recent GPG Portrait night once again. In conclusion GPG members get to practice with their cameras & Guisborough Theatre Group receive a collection of great images.

We would love to hear from you or why not pop along & pay us a visit. We meet on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm during our season which runs from September to the end of May. The meetings are held at the Guisborough Methodist Church Hall, pleasant surroundings with a large lecture room and free car parking out the front of the hall on Westgate.
