NEW NEW NEW

The RPS Northern Region in conjunction with Fotospeed have organised a day in October focusing on printing. We have representatives from Fotospeed, Canon printers and Amy Bateman FRPS (Talking about her project “We Are 25″ celebrating the twenty‑fifth anniversary of The Theatre by the Lake, in Keswick). Fotospeed will have examples of all their papers with a 25% discount. Everyone attending will get an A4 print of one of their images and a buffet lunch is included in the price.

The event is being held at the Newton & Bywell Community Hall , which is easy to reach by heading up to the A69 and it is just before Corbridge.

The date of the event is Sunday 11th October starting at 10:30am.

We’re charging £25 per person with a discounted rate for RPS members of £15.

‘Yorkshire Day Celebrations in Guisborough, 2nd August 2026

GPG was there with a free to enter exhibition featuring great print images produced by our members.

There was lots of positive feedback given by the visitors to our exhibition on the day.

GPG Members where back at Whitby YHA Cafe on Saturday 25th April 2026 for the Whitby Goth Gathering Event & again on Saturday 2nd May 2026 for the Whitby Goth Weekend Event. Our club members kindly obliged in taking some wonderful images for the visitors on the day.

GPG continue to support the ‘Guisborough Theatre Group’ (amateur dramatic group), including recently attending another dress rehearsal to capture the show & its stars. The GTC members always show their appreciation, they visited & posed for a recent GPG Portrait night once again. In conclusion GPG members get to practice with their cameras & Guisborough Theatre Group receive a collection of great images.

We would love to hear from you or why not pop along & pay us a visit. We meet on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm during our season which runs from September to the end of May. The meetings are held at the Guisborough Methodist Church Hall, pleasant surroundings with a large lecture room and free car parking out the front of the hall on Westgate.
